David B. Schulman
David received his degrees from the University of Illinois where he graduated from the law school with the highest distinction. His honors included the award as the outstanding graduate of the law class of 1962.
David was a founding partner of the law firm of Schulman, Silverman and Eaton which merged into Katten, Muchin and Rosenman where he served as chair of the firm’s Department Heads and was a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
David retired from the law firm to join the Havi Group, L.P. where he served as Vice Chairman until his retirement at the end of 2014. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of public and private companies in the transportation, aerospace, electronics, financial services and food service industries
David has held leadership positions in the Jewish Federation, was a trustee of Congregation B’nai Torah in Highland Park IL, and was President of Jewish Council for Youth Services in Chicago. His civic contributions include service as President of the caucus for his school district and on the Board of Visitors for the Illinois Law School.
David and his wife Carol married in 1960, have three sons and eight grandchildren.
