Director of Communications and Marketing
Mark Story brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications and marketing to his role at BCAN. He has built successful communications programs for several high-profile institutions, including American University, the National Cancer Institute, Alibaba Group and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
For more than 10 years, Mark has also served as a graduate-level adjunct professor at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University, designing and teaching classes in public affairs, public relations, digital media and crisis communications.
Mark is a published author, avid writer, podcaster, public speaker and fierce cancer advocate.
Mark is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, having earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Maryland. Go Terps!
