Imani Corley

Research Program Officer

Imani Corley holds a Master’s of Public Health degree with a concentration in Global Health from George Mason University, a Master’s of Health Science from Meharry Medical College, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from George Mason University.

Imani’s career spans roles in clinical research, public health initiatives, and science communication. Most recently, she served as a Research Assistant at Virginia Heart, where she contributed to the implementation and management of clinical studies, participant recruitment, and regulatory compliance. As a Science Communications Specialist at Technical Resources International, she supported safety oversight committees in cancer research while partnering with National Institutes of Health. In this role, she developed committees of physicians to review safety data for research studies and coordinated key meetings for international and domestic research teams.

Her diverse background also includes roles as a Covid Case Manager and Medical Assistant, where she developed expertise in emergency response and patient care. Imani has contributed to numerous health-focused initiatives through her volunteer work at free health clinics and her internship in refugee and migrant health during her Master’s of Public Health program.

In her free time, Imani enjoys journaling, cooking, exercising, and caring for her furry best friend, Bella.
