Alison Lemon, MHS

Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing


Alison Lemon is a public health strategist who led digital engagement for the National Library of Medicine, the world’s largest biomedical library. At NIH’s National Institute of Nursing Research she produced palliative care campaigns, reaching 500,000 clinicians and patients, and led a lecture series that highlighted the results of NIH-funded nursing research.

Earlier, in FDA’s Office of Women’s Health, she directed a consumer publication program that distributed six million plain-language guides on safe medication use annually and modernized its social channels with video and infographic storytelling.

Alison has been an adjunct professor at George Washington University and Johns Hopkins. She holds an MHS in Health Education from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BA in Public Relations and Psychology from Syracuse University.
