Edwin is a strategic, mission-driven fundraising professional with expertise in donor engagement, data systems management, and cross-functional collaboration. Currently pursuing an MPH in epidemiology, Edwin leverages evidence-based approaches to enhance fundraising operations and drive revenue growth. They excel at optimizing fundraising infrastructure, managing multi-channel giving platforms, and leading high-impact campaigns that align with organizational goals. Committed to operational excellence, Edwin’s work supports BCAN’s mission to increase awareness, advance research, and provide vital resources to the bladder cancer community.

Originally from San Francisco, CA, Edwin began his development career in 2018 after moving from his hometown to support a small nonprofit. In that role, he led a successful database migration and became the organization’s primary administrator. He later transitioned to a nonprofit with operational expenses 30 times larger, where he played a key role in re-establishing the development department and rehabilitating its CRM. Edwin holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a pre-medical focus from Loyola University.
