“I began attending the annual BCAN think tank shortly after finishing fellowship in 2013.  I had heard wonderful things about the organization from some colleagues and I loved the concept of this organically grown patient-centered group trying to better the field of bladder cancer.  To this day, they have yet to disappoint.

There is so much to be excited for in the realm of bladder cancer. There is literally exponential growth in the field ranging from sophisticated biologic characterization to improved risk stratification, novel cutting edge medications, innovative surgical tools, and much more.” – Dr. Dickstein
