Michael J. Droller, M.D., the Katherine and Clifford Goldsmith Professor of Urology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, is a graduate of the Harvard Medical School and received his urologic training at Stanford University Medical Center. His interests in urologic oncology have focussed on the evaluation and treatment of bladder cancer, and he has contributed over 200 original articles and book chapters in laboratory and clinical research in this and related areas. He is a former President of the Society of Urologic Oncology, a former President of the New York Section of the American Urological Association, and former Vice President and Trustee of the American Board of Urology. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of “Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations”, the official journal of the Society of Urologic Oncology, and as Associate Editor of the “Journal of Urology”, the official journal of the American Urological Association. He also serves as Chair of the Medical Advisory Council of the American Urological Association Foundation and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation.
