Patricia Rios

Senior Education and Advocacy Manager

Patricia brings twenty years of experience working in healthcare and the public health sector. Her areas of expertise cover a broad range of disciplines, including community engagement, intervention design, project management, program evaluation, health promotion, and cultural competency. Patricia serves on local committees and boards to advocate for health and social equity. As a service-minded professional, Patricia is committed to helping others thrive and live healthier lives.

Prior to joining BCAN, Patricia was the Community Health Improvement Manager for Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. While at Suburban, Patricia cultivated and leveraged partnerships and collaborations to sustain a comprehensive continuum of care for vulnerable populations.   

Patricia holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a Master in Business Administration from the University of the People.  When Patricia is not working or spending quality time with her dog, she volunteers and participates in activities that foster her professional development.
