Rachel Johnson

As BCAN’s Senior Development Manager and Walk Director, Rachel directs the organization’s Walks to End Bladder Cancer and also supports corporate fundraising. She has extensive experience in designing and executing effective fundraising initiatives in global oncology services, with a focus on helping deliver access to care in low-income countries.

In her previous role at The Global Access to Cancer Care Foundation, she managed multiple international projects including a breast cancer awareness walk in Ghana, which raised funds to provide breast cancer screening for thousands of women who would not otherwise have access. She has successfully worked to create compelling messaging and build awareness of the cancer crisis across the globe. She has dedicated her entire career to supporting organizations in the life sciences.

Rachel has a true passion for making a sustainable impact in patients’ lives through access to life-saving care, education, and patient and family support. She loves to explore new places and cultures.
