No donation or purchase is required to enter the sweepstakes for the gift cards, BCAN swag bundle or SmartWatch Fitness Tracker prizes.

How to enter and who is eligible:

No purchase or donation is required to enter this sweepstakes (“contest”). These rules apply to the 2022 Walk to End Bladder Cancer hosted across the United States.  Entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years old at time of entry and live within the United States. To enter the sweepstakes without registering for the walk, please contact walk@bcan.org  and provide your full name and mailing address.

The sweepstakes are divided into two tiers:

Tier 1 – Sweepstakes entrants must be registered to participate as an individual or team member for a walk at any location in the United States by March 31, 2022 11:59pm Eastern Time (ET).  This will be confirmed via registration receipt date and can be found on your registration email.

Tier 2 – Sweepstakes entrants must be registered to participate as an individual or team member for a walk at any location in the United States and raise over $600 or more by May 6, 2022 at 11:59pm Eastern Time (ET).  This will be confirmed via registration receipt date and can be found on your registration email and through BCAN’s fundraising platform (Blackbaud TeamRaiser).

The prizes for the sweepstakes are:

Tier 1 – A $50 Amazon Gift Card and BCAN-branded swag items with a fair market value $10.40, for anyone who registers for the 2022 Walk to End Bladder Cancer

Tier 2 – For anyone who raises $600 or more as an individual (not a team), they will be entered to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card and a SmartWatch Fitness Tracker with a fair market value $39.99.

The winner will be randomly selected using computer-generated software.

Prizes may not be replaced with an award of cash value, unless state or local regulations require that cash value must be substituted.

The odds of winning the contest is dependent on the number of entries.

This sweepstakes offer is not valid in any state or local region that prohibits such contests. Check with your local gambling commission for additional information on your eligibility based on your location. Winners are also responsible for any applicable state or federal taxes that may be required, and will need to consult with a financial expert on what they may need to claim in any tax documents. Any tax liabilities will be paid directly to the local or federal government entity as required.

When will winners be selected? How will they be notified?

Winners do not have to be present at a walk to win. By entering, you are providing permission to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) to use your first name and last initial in any announcement and press materials. BCAN reserves all copyrights and permissions related to the sweepstakes and any photos or other assets the winner may provide, in order to use in future marketing or promotional materials. BCAN will contact winners via email, and if winner does not respond to claim the prize within 90 days a new winner will be selected.
