David B. Schulman

David graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S and J.D., summa cum laude where he was Editor of the Law Review and received numerous honors, including an award as the Outstanding Graduate of the Class of 1962. He was a founding partner of the Chicago law firm of Schulman, Silverman and Eaton which merged into the national firm of Katten, Muchin and Rosenman where David was one of the managing partners serving as national chair of the firm’s department heads.

David practiced corporate law and was a member of the Board of Directors of firms in the aerospace,
electronics, financial services, food service and transportation industries. He retired from the law to join the HAVI Group, L.P., a global firm serving customers in over 100 countries in the logistics, packaging, marketing services and business analytics industries. He served as Vice Chairman of HAVI until his retirement at the end of 2014.

Always involved in civic affairs and philanthropy, David has served as President of Jewish Council for
Youth Services in Chicago, was president of his local school caucus, a trustee of his synagogue and has held leadership positions in the Jewish Federations of Chicago and Palm Beach. He married Carol in 1960 and they have three sons and eight grandchildren.
